6.00am – 2.10pm (1.10 pm Friday)
1.50 pm – 10.00pm (8.00pm Friday)
We are urgently looking for an inspector/
Quality Assurance Technician
•To ensure that all “First Off” inspection in all production areas are signed off as being correct to the drawing issue for the given contract.
•To resolve any issues of non-conformance with the relevant personnel, i.e. Team Leaders and/or Technical staff.
•To sign the route to show “First Off” compliance.
•To ensure “Last Offs” are completed prior to despatch.
•To control Goods incoming for compliance with either internal or customer specification.
•To ensure that all areas of Production are compliant with ISO 9000 requirements.
•To complete all relevant analytical data to ensure quality statistics are reviewed.
•To complete and ensure the conclusion of all corrective actions under the ISO 9000 procedures.
•To generate all necessary documentation to ensure traceability at all levels is maintained
•Eliminating all time delays and bottlenecks within the given areas to ensure specific lead time schedules are met in accordance with the customer delivery specifications
•Data history collation to be kept appertaining to the given contracts to ensure improvements can be made on the next contract
•Prior to despatch all route cards need to have “Final Inspection” process completed.
•Scrap bin control
Experience/Skills
•To be fully conversant with engineering drawings and to understand the customers requirements.
•To have a sound product knowledge.
•To understand the ISO9000 requirements.
•To be Literate and have a high level of numeracy
•Ability to communicate at all levels
•Needs to be Proactive in diagnosis and fault finding
•Ability to understand 2D and 3D drawing specifications
