ESS Employment Limited are seeking a Charge Hand for an established and successful events company. The successful candidate must be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions in a non-construction environment. This role will provide transport to and from site together with a food and drinks allowance per night. Accommodation when working away is provided.

LOCATION: Main site based in  Bristol area, Various Locations    

START DATE: As soon as possible

PAY:   £28,000 plus overtime plus night away allowance / bonus

WORKING HOURS:  07.00am to finish Monday to Sunday (5-7 days per week)

Vacancy – Charge Hand (working away)

ESS Employment Limited are seeking a Charge Hand for an established and successful events company.  The successful candidate must be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions in a non-construction environment.  This role will provide transport to and from site together with a food and drinks allowance per night. Accommodation when working away is provided.

Duties to include, but not limited to: 

* Supervising staff on site

* Installation of Flooring, Doors and Marquees

* Physical lifting of equipment, coordinating staff, working to tight deadlines and ensuring a clean, tidy and safe working area is maintained. 

* The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail.

* Workers must be flexible in their approach to the duties required

The successful candidate: 

* Have ClearSpan structures experience – marquee, pavilion, festival and event experience

* Have excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail.

* Ability to work away

* Willingness to work Nights and Weekends

* Driver’s licence with less than 6 points (essential)
